Favorite Picks of Round One and Round Two

Round 1

Tennessee Titans-The Titans had two first round picks and they didn’t waste either of them.

Corey Davis, WR, Western Michigan in my mind is the best wide receiver in the draft. If you like size he has that, if you like speed he has that, if you like hands well that can be an issue. Davis did have an issue with drops at times but you need to get open first, and Davis can get open all the time. Marcus Mariota needs a weapons like him to go along with Tajae Sharpe, and Delanie Walker. Even though he may put a few on the ground his explosive playmaking ability will be well received Titan country.

Round 2

Minnesota Vikings-How do you replace the best offensive weapon in team history. With not one but two talented running back. We all know how amazing Adrian Peterson was but the Vikes had to move on. Picking up former raider Latavius Murray wasn’t enough they drafted Dalvin Cook a big play back who can run it and catch it out of the back field. Through his career he’s had made big plays and had big games vs. the nations best teams. Having a running back by committee is the way to go in the NFL and having backs who bring different things to the table make it even better. Minnesota is still missing a top wide out but at least Bradford will have two backs who can make plays until they can acquire a top flight receiver.

Oakland Raiders-When you have a top 5 offense and a suspect Defense. It’s know wonder the Raiders went all defense in the draft. One of the big issues facing their defense is that they struggled to cover tight ends. Enter Obi Melifonwu 6-4 224 pounds DB from Uconn. He has great feet height and length. He will help the silver and black contend with Travis Kelce, Hunter Henry, and the great Antonio Gates. Did I mention he runs a 4.40 40 yard dash as well.
